Brad Friedel hangs up gloves

Brad Friedel will hang up his gloves and retire from professional football at the end of the season.

Brad is returning home to America to become an analyst, pundit and co-commentator for US channel Fox Sports.

Friedel, 43, moved from America to Liverpool in 1997 and has enjoyed spells with Blackburn and Aston Villa ans Spurs, representing the USA 82 times.

He played for Villa between 2008-2011, making well over a 100 appearances
