The first half of Villa's friendly with Nottingham Forest was blighted when new signing José María Crespo limped off injured.He appeared to have an issue with his right knee, but was able to leave the field unassisted.
He was replaced by Alan Hutton.
The game was level at 1-1 when the injury occurred.
Tim Sherwood will be hoping it's not too serious as he prepares for the trip to Bournemouth next week
