Saturday's League Two game between Port Vale and Bradford City has been called off because of a snowbound pitch.
Bradford City's players will now be that bit fresher when they leap into action in Tuesday night's Capital One Cup semi-final second leg against the Villa.
The postponement may also have a bearing on Bradford City boss Phil Parkinson's team selection for the big one.
