Sad news of the death of Václav Drobný

Former Czech International and Strasbourg defender Václav Drobný has died in a sledding accident, in the early hours of this morning, at the age of 32, according to Czech media.


Drobny, twice capped for the Czech Republic, skidded off a piste and crashed into a tree in the resort of Spindleruv Mlyn, some 140 kilometres northeast of Prague.


He spent much of the 2004/05 season on loan at the Villa but didn't break through to the first team.


Our deepest sympathies to his loved ones.

Bradford City have requested the full allocation available to them. This means that season card holders in the North Stand Upper will not have the option to claim their seat for this fixture.

Cup Scheme Members who are located within the North Stand Upper will not have their credit/debit card charged for this fixture.
