Yacouba Sylla buggers off to Stade Rennais

Yacouba Sylla is the latest of Paul Lambert's misfits to be turfed out of Tim
Sherwood's Aston Villa.

The Mali international has joined Rennes on a four-year deal, having spent the whole of last season out on loan at Kayseri Erciyesspor after failing to hold down a regular first team spot at Villa.

He follows Andi Weimann through the exit door with Matt Lowton also expected to leave in the next couple of days.

The Villa faithful will hoping that the flurry of exits will lead to more arrivals following the capture of Micah Richards.
