Jed Steer buggers off to Huddersfield for a month
Huddersfield Town have borrowed Aston Villa goalkeeper and serial loan out Jed Steer on a one-month loan deal.
The 6ft 2in Steer – an England age-group international – played on loan for Doncaster Rovers and Yeovil Town last season before playing the final match of the Premier League season for Villa against Burnley. He has played 57 senior matches and 14 in England Youth colours.
Steer's arrival comes after usual Terriers shot stopper Joe Murphy was ruled out with a leg injury.
He could make his debut for Town in Saturday's trip to Cardiff.
