As expected, Derrick Williams has moved to Bristol City.
The player is thought to have been offered a contract extension by Villa but chose to leave on a free in a bid for first team football.
The player made one brief appearance for the Villa first team last season but opportunities were likely to be limited in the future with the likes of Nathan Baker, Ciaran Clark and new signing Jores Okore standing between him and Premier League action.
