Jordan Bowery leaves for Rotherham United

Early Paul Lambert signing Jordan Bowery has left Aston Villa for Rotherham United on a permanent deal.  The fee is undisclosed but apparently is a record transfer fee for the Yorkshire club.

The player struggled to make an impact at Villa Park, despite opportunities presented by injuries to other strikers and found himself behind Callum Robinson in the pecking order when he returned from a loan spell at Doncaster.

He made just five league starts in two seasons for Villa.
