DISASTER: Amavi has horribly injured his knee

Aston Villa defender Jordan Amavi has been stretchered off with what appears to be a serious knee injury on international duty.

The 21-year-old was playing for the France Under-21s in their U21 Euro 2017 qualifier against the Northern Ireland Under-21s on Thursday night.

Midway through the second half in Guingamp, the left-back went down in clear pain, clutching his knee, and had to be taken off on a stretcher.
