Jim White sparked the ire of Villa fans with an innocuous tweet about a West Brom bid for Ciaran Clark.Clark emergence as a decent defender after years of under-performance was one of the few high-spots of last season's league campaign and Villa certainly struggled without him when he missed the arse end of the season through injury.
He'd previously spoken of his delight at the prospect of lining-up alongside Micah Richards and a move to the Albion seems an odd one (though it wouldn't have done a year ago).
